Welcome to the garden of the Fore(In)Sight Foundation. Since several of
our leaders are gardeners and the rest appreciate garden products in
this greening world, it seems appropriate to use a garden analogy about
As we share, we remember our founder, Dr. Bernard C. Murdoch and credit to him much that we have done and do. He once noted a small church in the suburbs of Houston, Texas that had been described as “not a small church, but a big family” and said that Fore(In)Sight could be like that. The congregation’s at-that-time thirty-nine members believed that Christians not only have a responsibility to the environment, but are themselves part of the environment. They realized that they were “called to be a garden… to use their land to grow vegetables fruits, herbs, and flowers, for hungry folks.” They moved away from consumerism, taking seriously the impact of their lifestyle on the environment. They trusted in the ”enoughness” of middle class Americans: they had enough people, enough money, and enough time and energy. They could share. Those of us involved with Fore(In)Sight want to share also.
This web site gives details about our purpose and is designed to give you a brief introduction to our sharing so that you can decide whether your degree of concern about both the problems of people you know or even those you don't know can include what may appear to be new and challenging ways of looking at all of us in our time in history.
Our publications are part of the communication products of the Foundation, the sole purpose of which is to enhance the lives and increase the happiness of people all over the world. Such a positive program is accompanied by a related program to reduce preventable negative problems of pain, suffering and death. Our FREE newsletter is called Truth Seekers and is available to anyone who wants it, not only on this website, but also through regular postal service mail. For regular postal service delivery send names and addresses using the Contact Information at the bottom of this page.
In addition to the above we provide FREE Seminars and you can get the information about these offerings on this web site.
Your participation is welcome regardless of any giving. We would like for you to help us make the world a better place by growing some good ideas. Additionally, if you are interested and can share, we are supported by tax deductible gifts, and appreciate any donations to help us maintain a public charitable tax exempt status that keeps your gifts tax deductible. If you would like to honor someone in your life, you may use the Honorary Donation form.
We hope you will enter our free-roaming garden of ideas and that we can join together with better problem solving insights ahead of time – FORE(In)Sights.
